Wealth Management Client Advisor-Market Leader

Description:Our client, Old National Bank, (www.oldnational.com), has an outstanding opportunity in Ann Arbor for a Client Advisor-Market Leader in our Wealth Management division.

Acting as the senior wealth management executive in the region, responsibilities include driving overall sales performance, client retention and revenue growth within the region. This key role leads and manages the Client Advisor team, including workforce planning and development, coaching and performance management.
Duties:Specific responsibilities include:
-lead, coach and manage a team of Client Advisors; perform regular management activities including hiring, performance management, training and development

-manage and achieve targets for Wealth Management sales performance, client retention and revenue growth in the region

-ensure coordination of client experience and delivery across all Wealth Management product lines within the region

-communicate and coordinate efforts with the region President and Management Team regarding sales efforts, progress, results, and upcoming plans

-manage an individual book of business with Wealth Management clients; conduct regular meetings with clients to review financial information, engaging product specialists as needed, and continuing to enhance understanding of the client's needs

- prospect and generate new Wealth Management fee-based business through all available means including referrals, networking, reviews of existing books and opportunities, cold calling, client entertaining,etc.

-maintain up to date knowledge of Wealth Management product offerings, changing legislation and current industry trends and practices and utilizing those as a part of the relationship management process

-refer business opportunities to other ONB business units where applicable including banking, brokerage, cash management, insurance and all others
Qualifications:Qualifications/Preferences include:
-Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or a related field

-A strong personal network in the region

-10+ years investment and/or trust sales experience

-Experience with a Registered Investment Advisory or Brokerage firm is desirable

-Prior leadership roles/experience

-At least one certifications/professional designation: CFA, CPA, CFP, CFTA, or JD

-Ability to travel off-site to client locations; overnight travel as-needed

-Strong communication and presentations skills

-Sound knowledge of the industry and a history of staying current with changing practices

-Advanced knowledge and understanding of investment and trust products with the ability to discuss industry concepts and practices with clients is desired
